Project Team

A project team is made up of users who have been invited to participate on a project. These users may be from your company or a vendor company

 

RFP - Request for Proposal

An RFP solicits a proposal, made through a bidding process by an agency or company interested in the procurement of a service

 

Project Stages

Octerra uses a system of stages to help determine at a high level where a project is in the course of production.

 

Intake Draft

An Intake Draft is an incomplete Intake Form; the first step in starting a project on Octerra. The platform automatically saves all changes as they are made. Once the user clicks “Submit” a project enters the Project Planning stage.

 

Bid Submission

During this stage, vendors who have been requested to submit proposals are publishing their bids on Octerra. At any time during in this stage a production manager can invite new vendors to bid on the project.

 

Bid Selection

Bid Selection indicates that a user managing the bidding process has assembled and published the top bids. A published collection of bids contains bids from 1 or more vendor. Each bid can be revised by the vendor upon request, and a winning bid can be awarded by the production manager.

 

Producer 

A producer is someone who is managing a project or soliciting bids.

 

Vendor

A vendor is a user or company who submits solicited bids on projects.
