The production manager may accept a winning bid from a vendor only in the Bid Selection stage. If your project is still in the Bid Submission stage, you can move it to Bid Selection by selecting "Close Bidding" from the action menu at the top right-hand corner of the page. If you don't see this option, then your account is set up for Sealed Bidding.
To review and select bids, navigate to the Bids tab. To award a project to a vendor company, click on the Select Bid button that appears to the right of the corresponding bid. The project will automatically progress into Active stage.
Note: vendor companies involved in the bidding process are not automatically notified if they have won or lost the bid. Please communicate with the vendor companies directly to inform them of their status.
If a project is awarded prematurely or to the incorrect vendor company, please contact Technical Support as soon as possible.
